Synopsis :

Veuve sur le point de se remarier, le Dr. Tess Coleman et sa fille de quinze ans, Anna, ne s'entendent pas. Elles n'ont aucun goût en commun, que ce soit en matière de vêtements, de coiffure, de musique, et encore moins en ce qui concerne les hommes...
Un jeudi soir, leur rancoeur éclate. Anna est furieuse que sa mère ne supporte pas sa musique et Tess ne comprend définitivement pas pourquoi sa fille refuse de donner la moindre chance à son fiancé. Deux biscuits chinois du bonheur vont tout compliquer en créant un choc mystique...
Le lendemain matin, Tess et Anna se retrouvent dans le corps l'une de l'autre. Elles vont ainsi expérimenter le point de vue de celle qu'elles désapprouvaient et se redécouvrir. Mais le mariage de Tess est prévu pour le samedi, et il va leur falloir trouver très vite un moyen de réintégrer leurs corps respectifs...

Dans la peau de ma mère est un remake d'une comédie de 1976, déjà intitulée Freaky friday. Réalisé par Gary Nelson et également produite par les studios Disney, la version initiale réunissait Barbara Harris pour le rôle de la mère et Jodie Foster pour le personnage de la fille.

Le rôle de Chad dans le film :

Dans ce film, Chad interprète Jake, le lycéen dont Anna est amoureuse (son rôle est très secondaire).

Mon avis sur le film :

Ce film est franchement trop drôle ! Bon, c'est vrai que l'humour est assez facile, étant donné la situation (la découverte par chacune de la vie de l'autre), d'autant plus que la différence entre la mère et la fille est presque caricaturale. Néanmoins, on ne peut s'empêcher de rire aux situations dans lesquelles les 2 héroïnes sont entrainées. Les 2 actrices nous font partager leur bonne humeur ! Il n'y a pas de doutes : elles se sont bien amusées à tourner ce film !

Voici quelques informations sur la série, que vous ignorez peut-être...

- "Les frères Scott" étaient à l'origine une série de "mid-season" (c'est-à-dire diffusée en mars-avril) mais la diffusion d'une autre série ("Fearless" avec Rachael Cook, Ian Somerhalder - Young Americans - , Eric Balfour - 24- , Bianca Lawson - Buffy - , ... ) ayant été repoussée (officielement, les producteurs voulaient encore l'améliorer...), la diffusion des "Frères Scott" a été avancée. Pour info, "Fearless" a finalement été annulée avant même la diffusion du premier épisode...

- Moira Kelly (Karen, la mère de Lucas) a prêté sa voix dans les 3 "Roi Lion" pour le personnage de Nala (adulte) !

- James Lafferty est né en 198... 5 !! Il n'a que 20 ans ! Etonnant quand on connait la moyenne d'âge des acteurs de série du genre... Par exemple : C.M.M. et Bethany Joy Lenz sont nés en 81, Hilarie Burton et Sophia Bush en 1982.

- Chad M. Murray s'est fait refaire, dans sa jeunesse, le nez non pas par esthétisme mais à la suite d'une chute (la bonne excuse...).

- Si le personnage de Karen est absente pendant la moitié de la première saison, c'est que son interprète, Moira Kelly, attendait un heureux événement !

- Le bébé qui joue Jenny est en fait un garçon !

- Juqu'à ce qu'elle obtienne son rôle dans "les Frères Scott", Bethany Joy Lenz se servait pour sa carrière du nom : "Joie Lenz". C'est d'ailleurs sous ce nom qu'elle a sorti en octobre 2002 son premier (et unique) CD : "Preincarnate". Il comportait 8 chansons (écrites et composées par Bethany). - La série devait s'appeller à l'origine "Ravens" (le nom de l'équipe de basket-ball du lycée de Tree Hill) mais les producteurs avaient peur que le public croie que la série était centrée sur le sport, ils ont donc dû trouver un autre nom...

Le nom original de la série, One Tree Hill, est lui-même le nom d'une chanson de U2.

L'action des "Frères Scott" se situe dans la petite ville (imaginaire) de Caroline du Nord, Tree Hill. Voici les endroits qu'on voit le plus souvent dans les épisodes :

Le lieu principal de l'action. Les personnages principaux de la série étant des lycéens, c'est normal qu'ils y passent un minimum de temps ! Entre les cours, les couloirs avec les obligatoires rangées de casiers, sont l'endroit où l'amitié, l'amour et les disputes s'expriment le plus...

Le café de Karen.
